Hey everyone, we are back. I will be updating from time to time on this site and catching up on everything since I was on vacation. Contestants for the 2007 contest, I received your entries, I will send a reply probably this weekend sometime. Thanks so much guys! I removed the link to the chatroom on the main site, since it seems pretty pointless and empty to me. I’ll do the same for the forums later this weekend. I need to add the merchandise guide that was sent in to me as well.

Hey guys! I need to make a couple of announcements. FIRST, Yay for ONE MILLION HITS!. It’s the first time any of my sites has hit one million. I never expected this site to be popular, after all, this was the only fan site around for a long time.

What an update? Yap! Well, besides fanart and cosplay which is the usual there is the following:

Nears Toys is done with all of the anime screenshots (they were just sitting on my computer really)

Anime Summaries were added, a great thanks to Hana who did most of them. I did 33 only. 26, 36, 37 will be added later. So all of the rest until 35 are done with all the information in there.

DVD Cover Scans were input in, courtesy of the wonderful people who gave me permission to post them up :). Ill add some more anime scans later.

The Release page is updated and better organized.

I forgot to mention that articles section I added a long time ago, but I put up a little article which basically asks for commentary. Do you believe in Light’s Ideology?

What? Do my eyes deceive me? Or are the skins back? I coded up the Strings skin so far, but Ill do the other movie skin later, since that one is a bit more complicated- the new system requires everything in CSS so this is massive CSS coding with every new skin… I want to recode the old ones before adding a new anime skin (the anime skin will be lightweight for all those who don’t care for many graphics). I fixed some errors on this white skin as well.

WHO DO YOU WANT TO SEE ON THE NEW SKIN? (anime version- don’t say Matt btw, I have no good scans of him.) I wanted to make a Near skin, but seeing how everyone hates Nears guts (as was the result with my forum layout) I decided against it.

I haven’t been watching much of Death Note on adult swim lately, but I think the voices are OKAY.

Upcoming My first priorities include adding that movie skin, then transferring all of the old news comments to the news page, after that I’ll update some stuff about the 3rd movie (since I need to add information about that) + anime summaries.

This post is just to say that the deathgod.org revamp is over! To save bandwidth and loading time, the fansite has been moved to: http://main.deathgod.org. This should save some space for everyone. Everything has been transferred over and if you have any questions or inquiries please ask. Change all links you might have posted beforehand.

Im so glad it’s over :) The site should be loading much faster all of a sudden, since I split it. You can comment on this post with your opinions. Im going to put up a simple and nice layout next time around too. Hopefully before schools starts next week.

The OST information and all other things will be updated later on when I have time, by the end of the summer we should have everything back up to date.
