Summary
  As L and the others watch a meeting between the members of Yatsuba, the secret of the group seems to be revealed. It looks like the group agrees upon who they should kill and Kira kills those people according to the group decision. Of course, none of the members actually know who Kira is of them, except for Kira himself. Coil, the disguised name for L, is meant to be a detective who the Yatsuba members will trust for updated info on L’s related investigation of Kira and Yotsuba. L says if they observe actions of the members they can find out who is Kira. Light has another plan.
  Light takes the chance of calling one of the seven members in an attempt to prevent any new killings. He chooses to call Namikawa. Light claims to be L and reveals that he has just heard the Yotsuba meeting, and hence knows of their plans. He decides to crack a deal: If Namikawa can help avoid the killings of ELF and Zenzai members for a month, then everyone but Kira wil be pardoned. Light continues to convince him into the plan, keeping quiet about the conversation. Namikawa cooperates and tells the other members to give Coil a month to investigate the identity of L and if he still doesn’t know then they’ll wait another month and set the killings to a random date. The members all agree since L seems to be their biggest of problems.
  The plan goes awfully well. L compliments Light and even asks him to precede him as the new L if he were to die. He says this to hear Light’s reaction, knowing that if he immediately says yes that he could surely have been Kira but Light catches the thought and reveals it to the rest of the group. L is surprised at his entire reasoning and all its correctness. L admits that he thinks Light will become Kira again once the new Kira is stopped. He then says that he will continue his method and if the Yagami’s disagree with his way they may use the headquarters to discover Kira in their own way.
  L goes to Misa asking her if she would do anything for Light, and in that case, would she help with the case? Misa of course agrees, and after L praises her love for Light, Misa says she wants to be friends with L and gives him a peck on the cheek. L’s new plan includes getting Misa to be interrogated by the Yotsuba members in their attempt to find out more information on L.
