Summary
  Misa shows everyone the recording she obtained from Higuchi! L ponders over Misa’s actions and realizes that if the killings do stop then it’ll become very difficult to see the actual killing method. Light asks Misa about how she got Higuchi to confess. Misa replies by telling him a half-truth.
  L checks up on Wedy and the security issues of Yotsuba. He tells Wedy to bug Higuchi’s house, and even his cards, which would have been pretty dangerous for Misa if this had been done any sooner. L asks Light if he remembers how he killed. Light of course says his famous line, “I’m not Kira” but L asks for a straight-shooter answer. L pops out with a theory that Light was Kira but somehow lost his memories and somehow transferred his power. But then he says that Kira’s power would move according to the will of whoever holds that power. L says that they will air a “Kira special” on Sakura TV to get Higuchi’s attention by airing a person who is easy to kill and find the name of: Matsuda.
  We then see a scene with 3 of the Yotsuba members (Namikawa, Midou, and Shimura) discussing who Kira might be and they all guess it to be Higuchi because of his motives. Namikawa receives another call from “L” and this time reveals to the other 2 who’s on the phone and tells Light that neither of these 2 are Kira. The plan to catch Higuchi is shared in plot and support. Namikawa calls Higuchi and tells him about the airing on Sakura TV, where Matsuda is beginning to tell the TV host about the Yotsuba meetings and the suspicion of one of the members being Kira. His face is revealed and Higuchi begins to panic a bit, thinking he had killed “Matsui” (Matsuda) off. He tries to call Misa and then fails so calls Midou. Higuchi becomes desperate and calls Mogi and then the company Misa belongs to, trying so hard to find Matsuda’s real name. In failure, he takes a gun, leaving the house driving over to where he says he will kill Matsuda. Wedy follows his tracked car…
