Idea: There was no real idea behind this layout, except that I just wanted something simple, and light colors to contrast with the previous layouts. Oh, and I wanted it div layers and centered, so this is just basically what I came up with.

Procedure: This layout didn’t take too long actually. Basically, extracting the cross was the tough part, but past the cross, it was pretty easy to figure everything else remaining out. I rotated the cross a bit, and wrote DEATHGOD in the middle of it, then rasterized the layout and cut off pieces of that to make it look nicer. Then, I went ahead and found several manga images from Death Note. I blended them into the white background. I added a purple and orange repeating background on the side, then added a light pattern from squidfingers because it added a bit more body to the layout. But it was a pretty simple layout overall. To give more color I made a nice simple menu on the side and then used line pattern I made myself to repeat in the content area to add a bit more graphic feel to it. The footer took a while to outline :). Other than that, it was pretty fun.
