And now it is August 22nd. Although Misora and Luxaky were able to solve the time, 6:15:50, they dont know if its am or pm. Misora searched the third crime scene on the 20th, but was unable to find any clues about the exact time. Luxaky tells her that since they have the majority of information, it doesnt matter.

They then try to find out if there are any clues to where the murder may happen. Luxaky actually discovers this first, using the MLS number for 061550, which points to a condominium complex in Pasadena. The complex has about 200 condos, and in room 1313, there is a woman named Blackberry Brown. 1313 and B.B.

However, Luxaky isnt happy with the information, since there lives another BB in the same complex. In room 404 lives a single man named Bruce Harp Babysplit. Misora does the math and in a condo complex with 200 rooms, there would be about 400 500 people living there (due to families), so she isnt surprised that there would be two people with the initials B.B.

Misora thinks that the next victim will be in room 1313, but Luxaky isnt so sure. Although 4 = 1+3, or B, she thinks that because there is a room that has the number 13 in it (equals bad luck), the murder will happen there. However, Luxaky goes back to the numeric sequence of days: 9, 4, 9, 9. There is one set of 9+4 (13), so he thinks that 404 (ignoring the zero) will complete the set of 13s to the number of days. Misora then starts to think that 404 might be the right room.

Since they cant come to a conclusion, Luxaky decides they should split up. Each of them will take a room, Misora in Room 1313, and Luxaky in Room 404. The reasoning is that a woman lives in 1313 and a man lives in 404. Luxaky tells her that they have to live in the rooms for the next two days, someone how getting their owners out of there. However, they wont tell them about the risk there in to prevent any kind of panic. Misora asks if the occupants have a right to know, but Luxaky says that the right to live is more important.

Theyll pay the occupants off, using money from their patrons, and putting them up in some kind of fancy suite room at a hotel. Misora agrees, thinking that L will front the money easily for the case.

Misora asks if they should get the police involved, but Luxaky argues that since theyre only 99 percent correct, and they have no solid evidence, theyll have to act on their own. Misora begins to think if she can ask Raye for help, but quickly decides against it.

Misora says that this may become physical with the killer, but Luxaky says hell be OK, since hes pretty strong. Ms. Misora, you also have your Capoeira skills, too. He then asks if she can use a gun, which she says she doesnt want to use, and doesnt have one. Luxaky does have one ready and asks her to take it. She may have to use it.

Misora stays a night at a West Side hotel, speaking with L and arranging the money. L says hes counting on her and must catch the culprit. Hell be sending a private team around the area, although they wont be immediately nearby. Their conversation ends a little past midnight on the 21st. Misora tries to sleep when she begins to wonder when she told Luxaky about her Capoeira skills.

Mello goes into a little about Beyond Birthday and his natural Shinigami eyes. No one knows how he got it. It wasnt through some idiotic shinigami that dropped a Death Note, but perhaps a shinigami that dropped his eyeball, Mello ponders. He also points out that if you change B to 13, 13 is the card of Death in a Tarot deck.

Case Study: Mello describes why Naomi Misora was on leave and why she wasnt too happy receiving the gun from Luxaky. The reason is because she made a huge error on a drug sting operation that her team had been working on for months. Although she wasnt required to carry a gun on her job, she had been trained to fire one. However, when the time came, she couldnt fire on the 13-year old culprit. In the end, there were no arrests on the case and the case ended in failure. This lead Misora to take some leave.

Misora didnt know why she couldnt pull the trigger on that case. However she remembered the look on the boys face, like he was looking at a shinigami. However, she kept going over this in her mind that the boy was part of that syndicate. She wonders in the BB case what would happen if the killer is a child. Thirteen years old

Misora is in room 1313 and checks the safety on the gun to make sure its on. Luxaky is nine floors below in room 404. She worries about him, since he doesnt look too strong. She figures she cant really worry about him since B will be coming to room 1313 to attack her, since shes working with L. She looks at the digital clock on the wall, that reads 9 am. Only 15 hours more, and she cannot eat, sleep, or even use the bathroom. She has to be on her guard.

She calls L and tells him that there is nothing happening at the moment. He reminds her that he has a force nearby the condos, and there are also two members within the condo. She is taken by surprise about this. Both are pros (one a thief, another a liar) and both are watching one of the rooms (the thief and liar are most likely Wedy and Aiber). When L is about to cut off, Misora quickly asks him about B. B is an acquaintance of yours, right

Misora has come to conclusion because of the letters of their names and his request to catch the killer at all costs. L admits that he knows B, although he asks her to keep it top secret. None of the security knows about this connection and he never meant for Misora to find out. He also admits he doesnt know the killer directly, but knows about him, and says that he cannot forgive any killers, because his only interest is in justice. Justice is the most important thing, and is power (which equals kindness). Misora tells L that she misjudged him and will get back to the investigation. At this time, Misora decides that she will go back to the FBI after her time off.

Misora then goes into the details about the other crime scenes in her mind. Qq, bb, the messages, how Quarter Queen was probably the only QQ in Los Angeles, the crossword puzzle, etc. She then thinks about where the last straw doll would be, across from the door. Blackberry Browns room is a normal room and she thinks about where the doll would be (around waist high). She sits in L fashion (not caring since no one is around) and thinks more about the straw doll, and the doorknob, and where the deadlock would be. She comes to the realization that the doll would be at the same height as the deadlock. She then realizes how Luxaky has been leading her on all along, and how shes been his puppet.

She screams and rushes out the door with gun in hand, first heading towards the elevator, and then down the stairs (faster), taking them 3-4 steps at a time. When she double checks that shes on the fourth floor, she tries to see which way to go (room 417 is on her right, and 418 on her left). A woman in the hall screams (at the sight of the gun in Misoras hand), but Misora ignores her and runs to room 404, calling for Luxaky.

The condo door is unlocked and she tries to call at each door within the condo. This condo is a three bedroom (vs. 1313s two bedroom design). One of the doors is locked by a deadbolt and she uses her gun to break the lock and knob, finally using her shoulder to open the door.

The first thing she sees is the straw doll, and next is the body of someone on fire. Its Luxaky Luee. She realizes the bedroom smells of gasoline and the sprinklers in the room have been destroyed, along with the smoke detector. She rushes to the hallway looking for the fire extinguisher. She manages to put out the entire fire, covering everything with a white layer.

Misora calls to Luxaky, thinking he really is a corpse this time, but he makes some noises, so she knows hes alive. The woman from the hallway has come to the door asking if everything is alright. Misora tells the woman that shes from the FBI and to call the police, fire department, and an ambulance (As an American, it sounds weird to list all the different departments to call. Most people would say call 911). The woman rushes off to do so, and it isnt until later that Misora realizes that this woman could have been one of Ls helpers (so its Wedy).

Carefully going to Luxaky, she puts her hand on his wrist to feel for a pulse. Its faint and he may not have much time left. She decides there is something she must tell him, something she must do. She puts handcuffs on him and reads him his rights.

The culprit of the the Los Angeles BB Serial Killer Case, Beyond Birthday, aka Luxaky Luee, was arrested.
