Later on, Light adds additions to the Death Note, as a plan. This is mentioned in Chapter 65.
- If the person using the note fails to write the names of people to be killed within 13 days of each other, then the user will die.
- If you make this note unusable by cutting it or burning it, all the humans who have touched the note till then will die.
